Ray Gets New Producer For Upcoming Album
Sugar Ray has parted ways with producer David Kahne, who oversaw their breakthrough album,
Floored, and 1999's 14:59. Rolling Stone.com reports that the band initially planned to go
with Kahne for its next release, but decided not to work with him for unspecified reasons. [click here for more news update...] |

Martin And Christina Aguilera Join Forces
Ricky Martin has re-recorded the song "Nobody Wants to Be Lonely," from his
Sound Loaded album, as a duet with fellow Latin pop singer Christina Aguilera. Both
singers, who were nominated for Grammy Awards last week, shot the video in Miami.
According to Rollingstone.com, the behind-the-scenes footage will be featured in an
episode of MTV's Making the Video on January 16. Ricky Martin himself will drop by the
network's Total Request Live on the 15th. |

Love Files Lawsuit Against Former Boyfriend
Courtney Love filed a lawsuit in the Los Angeles Superior Court, alleging that her
ex-boyfriend's ex-wife is out to get her. Allstar.com reports that Love was dating former
Geffen A&R executive Jim Barber for more than a year. Love claims that his wife,
Lesley Barber, had a 20-month "stalking campaign" against her. In the suit, she
claims Lesley Barber engaged in "assault, battery, trespass, theft, harassment,
invasion of privacy, stalking, prank phone calling, and making terrorist threats, among
many other unlawful and threatening actions directed toward [Love], her family and
friends." |
